Job Description

BR Guest Hospitality is a reputable, multi-concept, New York City based restaurant group coming to Pittsburgh! BR Guest is looking for a General Manager for the newest expansion of their most established brand.

The General Manager’s duties will consist of supervising and coordinates activities of the restaurant employees to provide timely, courteous, and exceptional service to all guests by performing the following duties.


  • Inspects establishment and observes employees and guests to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards and local liquor regulations.
  • Addresses guest's complaints concerning service, food, and beverages.
  • Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
  • Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.
  • Trains dining room employees in proper service etiquette.
  • Ensures scheduled hours of work for staff are appropriate for projected levels of business.
  • Sssists in purchasing of beverages.
  • Directly supervises 40+ employees



  • 5-7 years progressive management experience in a full service restaurant; 
  • Strong guest service and leadership skills; 
  • Strong coaching skills and team building experience; 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work load in a deadline driven, demanding environment; 
  • Wine, Beer & Spirits knowledge
  • Proficient computer skills including POS, Inventory and Cost Control applications; (Avero, Micros, or similar)
  • A 4 year college degree is highly desirable in Hospitality, Business or other related fields.
